We are seeking an Inside Sales Associate to manage our online sales and marketing initiatives. This position responds to, qualifes, and manages leads and customer requests for new homes, and reports directly to our Vice President of Sales.

Job Description

Primary Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Immediately respond to incoming lead inquiries by phone, email, text message, video, and web chat, with the primary goal of creating appointments for the onsite sales teams
  • Be the initial point of contact for home shoppers who enter our sales funnel, creating a welcoming environment that fills them with confidence and enthusiasm for our product.
  • Generate rapport with shoppers by listening attentively, communicating clearly, and following up diligently.
  • Qualify the leads based on needs and work with the prospect to determine the best community and floor plan
  • Extensive knowledge of all product lines and processes across multiple neighborhoods and divisions in the organization. 
  • Partner with onsite sales staff to create a smooth handoff process and an extraordinary experience for the customer
  • Provide information and marketing material to prospects
  • Respond to the sales line and voice mail for leads
  • Become the champion of the CRM platform. Enter all leads, create nurture campaigns, leave meticulous notes, and encourage increased adoption of the platform within the organization
  • Create and deliver ongoing e-mail campaigns and generate new opportunities from existing database of leads via prospecting efforts
  • Track and report on lead activity and sales conversion ratios. Metrics will be a primary tool used to determine job effectiveness
  • Maintain website content and monitor third-party websites/online advertising
  • Continually market research the competition and their online activities
  • Attend weekly sales meetings and adjust workflow based on input from sales staff
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing Director to assess advertising effectiveness and identify potential improvements to increase quality of inbound leads
  • Continuously improve the online sales process by keeping up to date with best practices, locating areas for optimization, and researching new technology and processes
  • All other sales and marketing duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Strong preference for candidates who are licensed agents in the state of California
  • Minimum of two years of sales and/or marketing experience
  • Experience with CRM and call tracking tools, preferably Salesforce and CallRail
  • Customer focused and personable
  • Proven e-mail and phone communication skills
  • Sales contact management database experience
  • Solid organizational, planning and managing skills
  • Maintain focus while working in an unstructured environment with nominal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time well
  • Must be able to learn and follow proven sales process
