Online Sales Consultant

Reports to: Senior Manager of Online Sales, Marketing, & CX
Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Rate of Pay: $21.25/h ($44,200 annually) + Commission
Location: Field and Vancouver, WA main office
FT or PT: 40 hours/week; Wed-Sun 3 weeks a month and Mon-Fri 1 week a month

Job Summary:

The Online Sales Consultant is the first point of contact for all inbound home sales leads
through phone calls, emails, and website and chat inquiries. This position needs to
ascertain buyer needs, generate buyer excitement, and qualify leads with the goal of
setting appointments with the on-site sales team. This person facilitates the relationship
between Holt Homes and the homeowners with integrity, courtesy, and character.

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of Sales or Customer Service experience
  • Online Sales or Inside Sales preferred
  • Has or is willing to obtain a Real Estate Brokers License in Oregon or Washington
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management databases (Hubspot preferred)
  • Experience with Sales Simplicity and Smartsheet preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and internet-based programs such as Google Chrome
  • Strong knowledge of web applications (Social Media, LiveChat, Wordpress)
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written, in the English language
  • Manage fluctuating workload efficiently, accurately with minimal direction
  • High level of accountability and responsibility with ability to work independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Respond immediately to all internet inquiries
  • Respond to caller inquiries immediately or at maximum within 1 hour from initial contact
  • Engage with chat inquiries immediately during designated hours
  • Track and report on weekly and monthly lead activity and conversion ratios
  • Utilize lead management software (CRM) to manage and nurture home buyer and realtor leads through a series of follow-up communications
  • Assist in the creation of new prospecting campaigns, provide information and materials to prospects
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team to monitor and help maintain the accuracy of the information on the website and 3rd party internet listings
  • Maintain close relationships with on-site sales associates through regular contact, weekly sales meetings and participate in ongoing training
  • Build rapport with, and qualify prospective buyers, understanding their needs, lifestyle, interests, to best be able to answer questions, highlight key product/community features, schedule appointments with the most appropriate sales associate
  • Be an expert and enthusiastic brand ambassador for all things Holt-related
  • Join new community meetings, make site visits as needed
  • Other duties as needed

Work Environment:

  • Regularly uses a computer with repeated movements to enter data, differentiate between colors, shades and brightness, and read from a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Schedule will include working from home, working from job trailers, and working from HQ in Vancouver, WA
